Understanding colour differences between CMYK + RGB  (simple)

RGB is Red, Blue and Green, And it is an addictive colour mode, As in you add colours to a black computer screen to make all the colours, the more you add the brighter it gets.

This mode is used on computer screens and anything digital.

CMYK is Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key or black is a subtractive colour mode meaning you take away the light by adding more and more colour . The more you add the darker they get, This is used for printing.

So at the end of the day RGB is for on screen colour and CMYK is for all printing needs.

I hope this makes you understand RGB and CMYK a bit more clearer :) .

Thanks to Mev for bringing the tip up.

Although I know about this myself I believe it’d be a nice addition to your tutorials to have tips about the difference between CMYK + RGB and working for print or for screen. A lot of newcomers won’t know the difference myself included when I 1st started out.
