Photography Tip #2 23/02/2011
Photoshop Tip(s)
This tip is for Adobe Photoshop users! and is more of a bunch of helpful commands that’ll help you work faster.
Shortcut commands are helpful for use within Photoshop to select different things using your keyboard without having to click on them using the mouse thus resulting in you still being able to fly around with your mouse/pen tablet on whatever you were doing.
Confused?
Load Photoshop….
OK, Open an image…
say you wanted to select the whole image and resize it a little, You’d have to go to edit>transform>scale.
The short-cut command for this is Ctrl + T, so all you have to do is hold the Ctrl key and press T. This will select the image for you and then you resize how you normally would.
Now, That’s only a basic command, using other commands will really boost how quick you can do things in Photoshop, If you press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + K this will show you a window with ALL the shortcut commands in Photoshop.
I recommend you have a look around and practice learning a few
.
I have to say, The few I use mostly have to be the brush resize commands ( the left [ and ] bracket keys ) , Ctrl + Z to undo the last thing you changed, Ctrl + A to select the whole image and Shift+ Z for the Zoom tool.
Hope this helped
