These handy tips will keep your bridal party happy and on the ball come your wedding day!
It’s important to make sure you all get something in your stomach BEFORE the Prosecco!
Chances are you won’t sleep well the night before and will have nerves in the morning but fight through it and pop the croissants in the oven or snack on those strawberries.
You’ll be glad you did later in the day.
If you plan on giving some gifts to your bridal party hold back until you’re about to leave for the ceremony, this will ensure you get the best photo’s as you’ll all have your hair & make-up finished and in your dresses.
There has been a few occasions when the bride has jumped the gun and gave gifts before I have even arrived, so hold back it’ll be worth the wait.
If you and your girls are having stilettos or thin heeled shoes definitely grab yourself some Heel Stoppers a.k.a CleanHeels/High Heel Protectors.
They will save you from sinking in the grass and potentially stop you from falling over and ruining the dress before some important photos!
They’re cheap too so why risk it!?
This is such a simple tip it’s hard to call it one. But remembering it can save you from a disaster!
So, the girls have popped the dress’s on and are ready to leave, but when someone goes for the perfume REMIND them to spray away! There’s been many occasions when during the morning rush something as simple as holding the perfume away from the dress just didn’t pop into their head. Save the patches and think!
To make this more of a tip, if one of the girls are unfortunate enough to get a few patches then you may get lucky with the ole’ hairdryer! Give it try!
I cannot recommend Dan highly enough! Each photo is exquisite in its own right, and truly captures the joy and happiness we felt during the day. Dan effortless

I cannot thank you enough Dan – our guests travelled from all over the world and yet we are all sat in our living rooms where ever we are, reliving every moment, thanks to your photograph s! Stunning! – Frances Desoisa
ASK for help
I know it sounds odd, but your bridesmaids and made of honor aren’t with you just for the prosecco, food and gifts… well usually they’re not 😉 They’re around to help you throughout the biggest day in your life! So make use of them, you’ll need someone to lift your dress during a toilet break, keep some touch up makeup in a clutch bag, make sure your hair’s on par and to keep the groomsmen on their best behaviour ;).
MOST Importantly – ENJOY IT!
The day really does fly by, don’t let the little things stress you out. Take a 15 minute break – just you and your husband! Chances are you’ll have plenty of family/guests wanting to chat and congratulate you throughout the whole day, sure it’s lovely but a well earned mini breather is totally needed. I ALWAYS mention this to my Bride & Groom and they ALWAYS come back agreeing how much it was needed without even realising it!
PLUS It’s a great opportunity to get some candid photo’s with just the both of you.
Well, I hope you enjoyed these few tips that will help out on your big day!
