Creating a relaxed, judgement-free space

“I pride myself on making everyone feel comfortable — whether you’re shy, anxious or simply have additional needs.
I’ll always create a relaxed space where you can be yourself.”

If the thought of posing for photos makes you cringe, don’t worry – you’re not alone!
99% of my bookings feel the same way at first.
Inclusive Photography
Every family is unique, and I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable in front of the camera… let’s face it, it’s not like we’re celebrities with paparazzi snapping away!
Whether you or a loved one are autistic, have ADHD, or simply feel nervous about being photographed, I’ll always take the time to build trust and create a calm, supportive environment.
My approach is relaxed, people-focused, and tailored to you — so you can enjoy the moment while I capture it naturally.
My job is to make you feel completely at ease, so you can focus on the fun and let the moments unfold naturally.
No awkward, forced poses – just real smiles, happy tears, and all the little moments in between.

1. Advice for Businesses: Being More Aware of Neurodiverse Clients
Creating an inclusive space doesn’t have to be complicated. Small changes make a big difference:
👂 Listen first – Ask about preferences, comfort levels, or triggers before you begin.
💬 Keep it clear – Simple, step-by-step communication helps avoid overwhelm.
🔄 Be flexible – Allow breaks, adjust your pace, and adapt to each person’s needs.
🌈 Minimise sensory overload – Avoid harsh lights, loud noises, or crowded spaces where possible.
🙌 Respect boundaries – Always ask before stepping into someone’s space or moving them.
✨ The goal? Help everyone feel safe, valued, and included.

2. My Approach as Your Photographer
Most people feel awkward in front of a camera (you’re definitely not alone!) — so I make it my mission to create a calm, fun, and stress-free experience.
Here’s how:
📸 Trust first – A friendly chat, a laugh, and no rush to start.
📸 Go at your pace – Breaks welcome, no pressure, and zero forced smiles.
📸 Adapt to you – Gentle guidance if you want it, space if you don’t.
📸 Capture the real moments – Natural smiles, happy tears, and everything in between.
No stiff poses. No stress. Just you being you — while I take care of the rest.
